Do You Have What It
Takes?
My work over the past couple of days included reviewing Tim Whiston's
and Jennifer Herold's upcoming new course called "Organization
& Focus for Your
Business," set to launch tomorrow, Friday, August 25, 2006.
One of the many components to the course is an audio interview between
Tim and Gary Ambrose.
Now let me say something upfront right now. I respect Gary as an
Internet marketer. He owns some fantastic products but I get so
damn many emails from him on a daily basis that I've essentially "tuned
him out" over the last several months. If you're reading this,
Gary, I'm sorry but it's the truth!
But, you know what I did? I listened to this audio first before
the others. Why?
Because I'm sick and tired of seeing his name and I thought, O/K, let's
just see what he's got to say – probably just a bunch of bull.
Wrong, wrong, wrong!
As I started to listen and comprehend Gary's words, two thoughts came
to mind – here's a guy who is passionate
and knowledgeable.
Have you ever been memorized by a speaker? (By listening to the
late Corey Rudl, you know what I'm talk about.)
Please understand I cannot see Gary – I can only hear his voice - but I
just know he is leaning forward and looking straight at Tim with a burning intensity to tell his story.
...and tell it he did!
At the core of Gary's discussion with Tim represents a subject near and
dear to my heart. And that is...
...Internet
Marketing Is A Business!
...Internet Marketing Is A Mindset!
This is not a new theme. In fact, in my third email to all new
subscribers to this ezine, I review the following success factors:
- The first success factor is DESIRE. Do something you love
and are passionate about. Create a burning desire in you to
succeed at all cost.
- The Second success factor is COUNTING THE COST. You must
weight both the positives and negatives of working for yourself.
An Internet business IS NOT for
everyone. There, I've said it. This lifestyle may
not suit you. No harm in admitting this fact if true.
- The third success factor is ROOM IN YOUR LIFE FOR A BUSINESS.
Working hard at building your business does not concern you.
Continuous self-improvement represents a priority. And, oh, oh,
spending some money remains a necessity.
- The fourth success factor is DISCIPLINE. Similar to
counting the cost, you need to set – and keep – regular business hours
and provide yourself with a dedicated work space. (Tim and Gary discuss
this point in a wonderful way – you must listen to it.) Finally,
testing, tracking and research describe key business action plans.
- The final factor is OPPORTUNITY.
Thousands of opportunities exist in the marketplace. But as Tim
and so many others point out, you eventually must possess your own
product, such as an eBook, software, video, etc. As part of their
new course, Tim and Jennifer provide a comprehensive resource called "The Expert Guide to Product Development."
This book presents six interviews with six very successful marketers
like Graham Hamer and Joe Vitale, just to mention a couple. Very
powerful stuff!
So...back to my original question – do you have what it takes to become
a successful Internet Marketer? Hey, maybe success is already
present for you. If so, can you "take it to the next level?"
Jennifer and Tim offer advice on Organization and Focus in a business
setting, two issues not very well understand in this industry.
This new course does a wonderful job at bringing these issues into
focus in a practical, easy-to-understand manner.
But regardless whether or not you check out the course,
remember
this: expanding your mind and scope of thinking, learning from
others, cultivating your passion and drive into a sustainable business
venture, and heightening your awareness of how to help and serve
others, will help you BE the person of your dreams.
See you on the other side!
Be the best!
